• About The Cairn Center

The word “cairn” comes from a Gaelic term meaning “heap of stones.” Rock piles have been constructed by people in different ways for many purposes throughout history. The significance of the cairn can be found in its many uses: a guide on a trail; a boundary; a way of creatively balancing energies and reducing stress; and a memorial or mark of respect for those who have gone before.

Are you in need of direction? Are you noticing a disconnect from others, an imbalance in your relationships? Do you have intrusive negative thoughts or feelings that have disrupted your ability to find your way?

The Cairn Center’s mission is to help you find your way, to restore balance, to offer guidance and direction in a respectful, safe place.

Here, we specialize in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, and loss. We work with adolescents and adults, with a special focus on first responders, health care providers, behavioral health professionals, and educators.
